⚡ Advanced AI Model Settings
- Model Override: Use specific OpenRouter AI models by entering model ID (only available when Premium AI Model is enabled)
- Video Settings: Select resolution (Fast or High) and length (5, 10, 15, or 20 seconds). Both affect cost — higher resolution and longer duration increase the price.
- Temperature (0.0-2.0): Controls response randomness - lower values (0.0-0.5) make responses more predictable and focused, higher values (1.0-1.5+) increase creativity but may reduce coherence
- Top P (0.0-1.0): Limits token selection to top percentage - lower values maintain focus, higher values increase variety
- Top K (0-100): Maximum token choices considered - 0 disables, 1 only considers most likely token, higher values increase options
- Min P (0.0-1.0): Minimum probability threshold - discards tokens below threshold, higher values strongly restrict output
- Frequency Penalty (-2.0-2.0): Reduces repetition of frequently used tokens - positive values discourage reuse, negative values encourage repetition
- Presence Penalty (-2.0-2.0): Penalizes repeated tokens regardless of frequency - positive values reduce repetition, negative values increase repetition
- Repetition Penalty (0.0-2.0): Reduces repetitive loops - values >1.0 reduce repetition, too high may cause incoherence
- Top A (0.0-1.0): Dynamic token filtering based on most likely token probability - provides finer control than Top-P by adapting per step

- Request Methods: You can request an image from the AI in chat or use the Creation Lab
- Editing: You can edit images by uploading an image and edit request to the AI in chat or using the Creation Lab
- Generation Cost: Images cost between $0.003 - $0.015 per image depending on cold start time and complexity. (Image edits cost more and take longer)
- Server Load: Sometimes the first image you make will cost more and take longer due to server unloading and reloading, but subsequent image will be faster and cost less.
- Persona Matching: Images will try to match your AI persona's appearance if you directly ask for a picture with them in it
- General Images: The AI can also create general images not related to your persona
🎥 Videos
- Request Methods: You can request videos from the AI in chat or use the Creation Lab
- Generation Cost: Videos cost approximately $0.04 - $0.15 per video depending on quality settings
- Quality: Choose Fast (lower cost) or High (better detail) — configured per persona in advanced settings
- Length: Choose 5, 10, 15, or 20 seconds. Longer videos cost more regardless of resolution
- Persona Matching: Videos will try to match your AI persona's appearance if you directly ask for videos with them in it
- General Videos: The AI can also create general videos not related to your persona
🎯 Helpful tips to make great media!
- Be explicit about content type: Clearly state if you want an "image" or "video" - the AI may not generate anything without this
- Specify persona or general: Example: "send me a picture of you" for persona images, or "send me a picture of [subject]" for general images
- Don't edit what's not there: When editing uploaded images, only modify elements that actually exist in the original
- Be clear about video elements: For video generation, it help to specify speed, angle, tone, and actions.
- For videos try images first: To get the most accurate results it can often be good start with an image and convert that to video. Try asking for an image first.

- Each image generation costs usage and counts toward your monthly limits
- When server usage is low sometimes cold start might make your first image cost more and take longer, but subsequent images will cost less and be made faster.
- Video generation costs more than images but provides richer interactive content
- You can change image settings in the advanced setting of each persona. This will change whether image should focus on quality or referencing the profile picture.
- You can change video resolution (Fast / High) and length (5–20 seconds) in the advanced settings of each persona. Both directly affect cost.
- Monitor your usage in the Dashboard to avoid unexpected charges
Account Profile Settings
Your profile settings live under Account → Profile. Filling them in is optional, but the more you provide the more your AI personas can personalize conversations — provided you enable Uses Personal Info on each persona.
Username
Your login identifier. It is displayed as read-only and cannot be changed after registration.
Nickname Public
The public display name shown as the creator on any personas you publish to Discover. Does not affect AI conversations.
Time Zone Always Active
This setting is always used regardless of the "Uses Personal Info" toggle. It tells the AI what local time it is for you, so good morning/night messages and check-ins are sent at the right time. It also makes the AI aware of your local date and time in conversation. Defaults to UTC if not set.
Preferred Language
When "Uses Personal Info" is enabled, the AI will attempt to respond in this language if it differs from English.
Topic Interests
Subjects you enjoy (e.g. gaming, cooking, music). When "Uses Personal Info" is on, personas reference these to steer conversations and check-ins toward topics you actually care about.
Profession & Hobbies
Shared with the AI so it can relate to your work and free-time activities in conversation (e.g. asking about your day, referencing your field).
Location
Your city or region. Lets the AI mention local context naturally — weather small talk, cultural references, or relevant suggestions.
Birthday
Lets the AI know your age and wish you a happy birthday on the right day when "Uses Personal Info" is enabled.
The "Uses Personal Info" Persona Toggle
Each individual persona has a Uses Personal Info setting (found in the persona's settings under Feature Toggles). When enabled, your profile data — name, gender, preferred language, topic interests, location, profession, hobbies, and birthday — is passed to that persona's AI as background context.
- The AI uses this as quiet reference material. It will not randomly recite your profile back to you — it uses the info naturally to feel more aware of who you are.
- This is a per-persona setting. You can enable it on some personas and leave it off on others.
- Time Zone is always active and does not require this toggle to be on.
- Fields you leave blank are simply omitted — you do not need to fill in every field for the feature to be useful.
Using Push Notifications
Enable Browser Notifications
To get notifications of new messages go to your account's Notification Settings page and grant permission for browser notifications when prompted.
Subscribe to Push Notifications
Click "Subscribe to Notifications" to register your device and enable push notifications for your account.
Register Additional Devices
Use the Device Management section to edit other devices (phones, tablets, computers) that have enabled notifications.
Manage Notification Settings
Control which devices are active, test notifications, or remove devices you no longer want to receive alerts.

Verify Your Number
Before using SMS, verify your phone number in your account settings to ensure secure messaging.
Text Your Persona
Find your persona's unique phone number in the persona's Settings page under 'Show Number & Key' and send a text message to get started.
Follow Setup Instructions
Your persona will respond with setup instructions. Follow them to complete the SMS connection process.
Start Talking via SMS
Once connected, you can have full conversations with your persona through text messages anywhere, anytime.
Using Telegram
Telegram lets you chat with all your AI personas for free — no SMS costs or phone number required. Link your account once via @PersonaTextBot and every persona you own is instantly available.
Generate a Link Code
Go to Manage Account → Connections and click Generate Link Code. You'll get a one-time code like pt-AbCd1234.
Open @PersonaTextBot
Search @PersonaTextBot on Telegram or tap the badge in Connections settings. Start a chat with the bot.
Send the Link Command
Send /link pt-AbCd1234 (your actual code) to the bot. Your account is now linked and the code expires.
Start Chatting
The bot selects your most recent persona automatically. Use /list to see all personas and /switch Name to change.

To unlink Telegram, go to Account Settings → Connections and click Unlink Telegram. AI messages sent via Telegram count toward your daily free message quota and usage credits just like web and SMS messages.

You can preview examples of each style when creating your persona. The art style applies to both profile picture generation and in-conversation media requests.
Enable notifications in your browser when prompted during persona creation or in notification settings. You can manage notification settings in your browser preferences.
Premium Messages: Unlimited access to advanced AI models with higher quality responses. Included in your monthly plan limits or available through purchased credits.
When you exceed your daily free messages, you must switch persona to premium messages (if available) or it will stop responding until usage resets.
AI Messages: Personas switch to free model messages (daily rate-limited) or stop responding until usage resets on the 1st of each month.
Media Generation: Image and video generation stops until usage resets or additional credits are purchased.
SMS: Personas will stop sending SMS messaging. TTS: Personas voice will no longer generate audio.
You can monitor your usage on the Plans page and purchase additional credits anytime to avoid interruptions.

3. Click "Cancel Subscription" or "Cancel Auto-Renew"
4. Confirm the cancellation
What happens after cancellation:
• You'll keep access to your current plan until the end of the billing period
• Auto-renewal will be disabled
• You can continue using any purchased credits
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
You can reactivate auto-renewal anytime before your subscription expires.
To share a persona:
1. Go to your persona's Details page
2. Find the "Join Key" section
3. Copy the join code and share it with others
For others to join:
1. They navigate to the Join Persona page
2. Enter your join code
3. They get a complete copy of your persona

• Shared personas are copies, not linked to your original
• Recipients can modify their copied personas
• Join codes never expire
