How Billing Works

Monthly Credit

Your subscription includes a usage credit that refreshes on the 1st of each month. It covers AI messages, images, videos, SMS, and TTS.

Usage Priority

Subscription credit is always used first. When it runs out, purchased add-on credits kick in automatically — no interruption in service.

Add-On Credits Never Expire

Purchase extra credits anytime ($5–$50 per purchase). They carry over month to month and are only spent when your subscription credit runs out.

Free Model Messages

Every plan includes a daily quota of free messages using a basic AI model. These don't consume credit. When the quota resets the next day, they're available again.

Premium AI Model

Enabling the Premium AI Model on a persona uses your credit balance per token. This gives higher quality, more capable responses but costs more than free model messages.

What Happens When Credit Runs Out

AI responses fall back to free model messages. Image/video generation and TTS pause. SMS stops sending. Everything resumes once you add funds or your subscription renews.

Usage Rates

These rates apply to credit usage (subscription credit and purchased add-ons). Free model messages are not billed.

SMS Billing Details

How Segments Work

SMS messages are billed by segment, not by message. Each segment is up to 160 standard characters or 70 Unicode characters (emojis, accented characters, etc.).

A short message = 1 segment. A longer message is split into multiple segments, each billed separately. Very long messages may be delivered as MMS, which has different carrier rates.

Inbound & Outbound

Both directions are billed:

  • Outbound (persona → you): $0.0055 – $0.016 per segment + carrier fees
  • Inbound (you → persona): $0.0055 per segment + carrier fees
Supported Regions

SMS is currently supported in the United States and Canada only. International SMS is not available at this time.

Video Settings & Pricing

Video cost is determined by two settings you configure per persona: Quality (resolution) and Length (duration). The table below shows exact costs.

Fast

Lower resolution. Faster generation. Lower cost — ideal for quick previews or shorter clips.

High

Higher resolution. Better detail and clarity. Higher cost — best for final content.

Upgrading & Downgrading

Upgrading

When you upgrade to a higher plan, your saved card is charged immediately. Your new usage credit and features activate right away.

Downgrading

When you downgrade, the change is scheduled for the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan's benefits until it expires.

Cancelling

Cancel anytime to disable auto-renewal. You keep your plan benefits until the billing period ends. No refunds for partial periods. Purchased credits remain usable indefinitely.

Billing Cycle

Subscriptions bill monthly on your renewal date. Included usage credit resets on the 1st of each month, regardless of billing date.
